  Studio Map     bio: Shayann was raised in Willmar, MN through grade school. She attended St. Cloud State University and received a BFA in painting. After undergraduate studies she spent time traveling and gaining experience working in administrative arts. She then went back to school for fine arts and studied as a post-baccalaureate student at the University of Oregon, taking classes in printmaking, art history, and independent painting.

Shayann moved back to Minnesota as an emerging artist receiving two SMAHC individual artist grants. She currently exhibits locally, at summer art shows throughout the state, and teaches art and yoga part time. Shayann recently spent the past winter in Prince Edward Island, Canada creating new artwork. You can view her artwork online at www.mnartists.org/Shayann_Hoffer
