About Studio Hop | bio: | My
first love at the Pottery Workshop has been the garden. Making functional
pottery is such a natural complement to gardening. One is never without
inspiration for a small vase for bright marigolds or a glossy bowl for
fresh strawberries in cream turning off the wheel. At the Pottery Workshop you will find me in the garden as often as in the studio in the spring and summer. I enjoy the company of other potters at the studio and having time to help children appreciate the feel of clay on a turning wheel. It’s a messy happy business. Julie Joplin |
